Reading Hero Packs
Reading Hero Packs are comprehensive resources that scaffold the text beautifully. Each one contains a wide range of resources including chapter summaries, word and picture glossaries, character booklets, dictionary creator sheets, chapter overview sheets, comprehension questions for each chapter and activities to support the student as they read the book, They are great for use in small groups or alongside a whole class text. They will benefit EAL learners and learners with low levels of literacy.
Snapshot Mats
Snapshot Mats are one of our most popular resources, developed in 2018 they are based around a high quality image which provides support for learners. The Mats focus on developing vocabulary linked to popular school topics.
Daily Brain Warmers
Created during the pandemic lockdown, these daily sheets provide brain stimulation and are perfect for early morning work, interventions, gap fillers and more. They combine maths, reading development, writing, prediction, mindfulness and vocabulary boosting. There are 365 of these, they can be viewed online to save printing or downloaded and used alongside their answer sheets.
P.O.W.E.R Packs
P.O.W.E.R Packs are comprehensive resource packs that contain 5 resources based around an animated short movie. They are ideal for bridging experience gaps, covering gritty topics or as a pre-teach for a new topic. They involve a range of speaking and writing activities and can be broken down in to more than one session. Activities do not all have to be completed.
Comprehension Sheets
Our comprehension sheets cover a wide range of topics and subjects and are a great way of assessing prior knowledge, checking for gaps and checking understanding. Wuestions are based around a high quality piece of text and build up from multiple choice to free text responses.
